If you believe there are errors in your ledger, learn more about what you can do.
During normal circumstances, the only issues that you may experience on your ledger are outside of the company's control. Payments are posted to the account on the date they were received and back-dated when appropriate. Our company does not implement any policies regarding waiving late fees at a convenience unless proof can be provided that the payment was made and cashed before the end of the grace period.
The grace period for late fees can be found in your lease. Payments should be processed before midnight of this date to avoid penalties.
For most traditional lease agreements, the following is true:
- Payments are due on the first of the month
- Late fees are assessed on the 6th day of the month starting at $50
- Late fees are charged each day that the payment is not fully satisfied at $5 per day
- A satisfied balance is considered $0.00 remaining in rent payments due
- Late fees are charged each day that the payment is not fully satisfied at $5 per day
Your ledger will appear the same on your end as ours and is updated in real-time.
For Lease Purchase (Path to Homeownership) Tenant-Buyers
Due to a system limitation, Tenant-Buyers on a lease-to-purchase agreement may experience late fee charges that are not accurate to their payment history.
However, as long as payments are made on time and in full, our company will gladly waive these for you at any time.
For most lease-to-purchase agreements, the following is true:
- The monthly payment is due on the first of the month
- The monthly down payment installment (if any) is due on the 15th of the month
To have these incorrect late fees waived, simply email our staff and they shall be reversed.
If you are ever uncertain what amount is due without late fees, you can review your full tenant ledger on your portal.
