Learn more about this party involved in closing a real estate transaction.
If you're under contract to purchase or sell a home, you may have heard of a Transaction Coordinator.
💡 Keep in mind that this role can vary per company or per transaction.
A Transaction Coordinator's job is to manage the working parts of a transaction from the time it is under contract up until closing.
This might include:
- Scheduling inspections
- Sending documents for signatures
- Updating title companies, lenders, inspectors, the other agent & anyone else involved
- Schedule closing
This person does not necessarily need to be a licensed realtor, though some are. Typically, although this person is assisting with the transaction, your realtor will be your first point of contact.
